Hair Replacement Designer Joseph Paris in Los Angeles February 17-18

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 4, 2007 — New York hair replacement designer, Joseph Paris, will be showing off his latest hair system designs in Los Angeles on February 17 and 18 at the Sofitel in Beverly Hills.

While Joseph Paris’s upscale, private salon is located on Madison Avenue in New York City, Joseph Paris designs wigs and hairpieces for private clients and public figures all over the world. The purpose of this trip to L.A. is to deliver custom hair systems to Joseph Paris’s California clients and to give private consultations to others who are interested in doing something about their hair loss.

“Even though my company has been based on the east coast for the last thirty years, the response to my hair systems has always been tremendous in Los Angeles,” says Paris. “What most people who wear hair replacement from other companies don’t understand is that, with the right product, you don’t have to make monthly visits to a hairpiece studio for repair and maintenance.”

Joseph Paris’s custom hair replacement systems are made from the same delicate materials he uses when designing a wig or hairpiece for film or television. “The difference,” Joseph notes, “is that I design them to last, because your life is no one-hour episode or two-hour movie. You have to be able to do everything while wearing my hair system that you would do with your own hair, and I’ve been able to accomplish that with my custom hair system designs.”

Joseph Paris has designed wigs and hairpieces for actors in such films and TV shows as, “Riding in Cars With Boys,” “Don’t Say A Word,” and “Law & Order: SVU”. He was friend and personal hair stylist to Frank Sinatra and the late King Hassan II of Morocco. His company, Joseph Paris Naturally, has enjoyed a reputation as the finest hair replacement provider to the general public, and was just declared the top man in the field of wigs and hairpieces by the CNBC show, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch.

Unique “hair hats” offer a temporary hair loss solution

Article posted on January 27th, 2007 in Hair Systems, Womens Hairloss | 581 Views | Leave a Comment

A Detroit woman, Susie Lucas, has created a new option for cancer patients who have lost their hair due to their cancer treatments.

As a licensed cosmetologist, Lucas recognized the need for people who are dealing with their temporary hair loss to have other options besides traditional wigs, which can be irritating to the scalp and uncomfortable to wear.

Susie came up with the idea off attaching a partial hairpiece around the rim of a baseball cap which would allow the wearer to have the appearance of hair, while enjoying the comfort of wearing a light, airy and fashionable cap.

This now patented idea, has proven to be particularly appealing to women experiencing hair loss as a result of chemotherapy and other conditions such as Alopecia Areata.   Her product line has since expanded beyond baseball caps and now also includes slouch hats, sweater caps and dressy hats.

Lucas buys the hats and strips of hair separately. She uses fitted caps and custom makes the bands of hair. The finished product she claims looks like real hair and is priced at less than $100.

Susie’s site, Unique Hair Design, has a variety of styles ranging from baseball caps to fashionable hats and has various styles and colors of hair available, including braids.   Hats can also be custom-made on request and her hats use the finest quality 100% human hair.
