New hair loss cosmetic comes to hair salons

Spencer Forrest, the makers of Toppik, have recently released a salon version of their popular hair loss cover-up product called XFusion.

According to the manufacturer, XFusion is a cosmetic breakthrough that immediately gives men and women thicker-looking hair and is offered in a range of eight natural shades to subtly match any hair color.   It consists of colored organic fibers made of pure keratin protein – the same protein that makes up human hair.

When shaken onto balding or thinning hair, XFusion fibers instantly and securely fill out the hair a person already has, giving him or her the appearance of having significantly more hair. Since XFusion works with existing hair, it can enhance even the sparsest areas and won’t come off in wind, rain or perspiration but removes easily with any shampoo. It is not, however, appropriate for completely bald individuals as the fibers need to cling to existing hairs.

XFusion has a suggested retail price of $24.95.  Other products in the line to complement XFusion include:

– XFusion Fiberhold Spray - Strengthens the bond between XFusion Fibers and thinning hair. It intensifies the magnetic attraction and assures that the fibers will stay in place under all conditions (SRP: $8.00)

– The XFusion Hairline Optimizer - Enables the user to get a perfect result at the frontal hairline every time. (SRP: $6.00 per 2 pack)

– The XFusion Spray Applicator - Can help deliver even better results with XFusion. It allows you close and precise enhancement of smaller areas such as front hairlines. (SRP: $18.00)
